International draughts is one of the variants of the game of checkers. The rules of the game are similar to the rules of Russian checkers, the differences are in the size of the board, the number of checkers in the starting position, checkers notation, some rules of combat and recognition of the endings as tied. The goal of the game is to destroy all the opponent's checkers or deprive them of the opportunity to move ("lock"). When any field of the last horizontal is reached, a simple checker turns into a king. The queen moves diagonally to any free field both forward and backward. Taking is mandatory if it is possible. The game is considered won in the following cases: - if one of the opponents has beaten all the checkers; - if the checkers of one of the participants are locked, and he cannot make another move.
